What is your current position, and what are your job responsibilities?
Assistant Director of ELR. I assist academic and administrative units with issues involving day-to-day administration of the university's contract with SEIU (Service Employees International Union).

What has been your career path; how did you end up in your current position?
In February of 2018, I started at the UO as an HR Assistant in the Service Center of Human Resources. I came from an HR background but did not have any experience in higher education, outside of attending Western Oregon University as a student. I quickly grew to love my new surroundings and took on new career challenges. I was fortunate to accept my role with ELR in 2019.

What do you like about your current position?
I enjoy interacting with people and helping with challenges or concerns they may be navigating. In my position, I get the opportunity to ask questions to cultivate relationships. This has allowed me to make many connections with folks across campus that have been crucial to my success and have helped me gain valuable resources. 

Share a little about yourself personally
When I am not working, you will find me exploring all over Oregon with my husband and our two young daughters: Stella, 4 and Maddie, 2.
