Graduate Program Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees are derived from Tuition and Mandatory Fees and the Tuition and Fee Policy Book.

University of Oregon tuition and fees are based on residency classification, student classification (undergraduate, graduate, etc.), and the number of credits enrolled.

Mandatory enrollment fees are individually listed below the tuition table. Want to know more about fees? See Mandatory Enrollment & Course Fees.

Graduate student cost of attendance estimates, including estimated living expenses, books, course materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, etc. are available online.

Select your graduate program, residency classification, and term to display the tuition and fee tables that apply to you. The tables show tuition and fees per term. (The tables may take a few seconds to load.)

As the Conflict and Dispute Resolution Master's program (CRES) is located in the School of Law, the tuition and fees for CRES are shown on the Law Program page.

Course-specific fees may also apply. For additional required fees, refer to the Class Schedule.

Footnotes

  • A one-time matriculation fee is assessed on all new and transfer students.
  • A one-time Event Fee is assessed on all new and transfer Law students, to cover Commencement-related costs.
  • Students enrolled in Eugene campus courses are required to pay all Mandatory Enrollment Fees. Students enrolled at the Portland or Charleston campuses, or at an off-campus site other than the Eugene campus may pay the same or different mandatory fees based on the level and cost of administering services at that location, as determined by the Board. For the purpose of assessing fees, students enrolled in only online courses pay the Off-Campus set of fees. Non-admitted students do not pay the Health Service Fee. See Campus-Based Fee Structure for more information.
  • Students enrolled in the Portland programs use the Portland State University Student Health Center, and pay the same Health Service Fee as PSU students.
  • Students coded as international undergraduates will be assessed a $200 support fee each term during the regular academic year, and $150 during the summer term.
  • International undergraduate, graduate and law students are automatically enrolled in the UO International Student Health Insurance Plan unless proof of other insurance that meets certain requirements is provided and a required waiver is completed.
  • Students will be charged an additional amount per credit hour for undergraduate courses in the Business School (College of Business undergraduate differential tuition), depending on their Tuition Cohort. In the College of Business, undergraduate differential tuition fees are used to enhance student services, including academic advising, tutoring, career services, and co-curricular activities.
  • A portion of the Incidental Fee paid by undergraduate students who enrolled prior to summer 2022 is redirected, by agreement with the ASUO, to the Erb Memorial Union. Find more information on the ASUO site.
  • Non-Admitted (CEP) students’ tuition and fees are calculated based on their residency classification, course level (undergraduate or graduate), the number of credits enrolled, and the term of enrollment. Refer to the Non-Admitted Student Tuition and Required Fees table in the 2025-26 Tuition and Mandatory Fees document for details.
  • Information on the historical cost of education is available in the Tuition and Fees section of this website.
