Planning Associate - Space Analyst
What area do you work in within the VPFA portfolio?
I work in Campus Planning.

What is your current position and job title?
I am a Planning Associate – Space Analyst.

What are your responsibilities?
Managing the allocation of space. This work includes solving space requests, planning space needs for campus, and serving as staff for the Space Advisory Group.
 
What has been your career path; how did you end up in your current position?
I’m an architect and I worked in firms until 2008, when I started work at Lane Community College, managing design and construction projects for the college. I also worked managing construction projects at OSU for five years before starting as an Owner’s Representative at the UO. 

How has your work history and education enabled you to attain your current position?
I’ve had a wide range of jobs in design, construction, architecture, planning, and historic preservation. 
 
How has working at UO enabled your professional goals and interests?

I can walk to work.
 
What do you like about your current position?

I like the people I work with, from those in the Campus Planning office to the wide range of people I work with across campus.
